Back when we were using 2014 it always had this issue too; I think the update was actually installed, it would just never update in the about window..

It could possibly be a similar problem here, I had a similar problem with update one not showing as installed for some time, well until I did maintenance reinstall from control Panel. I thin I'll try a maintenance reinstall and see if that fixed it.

I just check the Windows>Control Panel>Programs and Features>Show Installed Updates.

It used to show the updates in the "About" Panel. I think it changed a number of releases ago.

Strange that 2015 is still showing as it was un-installed when I installed 2016, so those updates should not be showing as installed.

So I eventually got this sorted, by un-installing, rebooting and re-installing the main Inventor program, run once close down, MANUALLY installed the update, now showing as installed, WHAT A MUCK AROUND, I THINK this is exactly what I did with update 1

Hi Paul,

Good to hear that you got it sorted, but it obviously shouldn't be that difficult. Where did you initially install Inventor from ? A standalone installer on USB, a download, or a specific Suite ?

I know that the initial Building Design Suite release included the wrong release version of Inventor, hence my questions.

Thanks

Chris

Originally form a download saved to my "E" drive. But not installed until a few months after release.

Ok - what was that download ? Just Inventor or a Suite ?
