Highlighted selection not shown transparent

How can i get the selection to be shown transparent (seen through other parts)? I managed to do this previously as seen from the picture, but i cant seem to replicate it now.

Maybe "enhanced highlighting" is not enabled?

Application options > Colors tab.

Awesome assembly btw.

hi

I believe the behavior has changed in the last versions.

You can ask to change this in the "Inventor Ideas forum". If the idea gets enough votes, they probably change it back.

@CCarreiras are you sure? It seems to be working for me (IV2023.2):

@-niels- ,I have also 2023.2.

Also changed some options in application tools, but the result was always the one you can see below.

I Have Nvidia Quadro, Autodesk Certified.

I mean theres only one option, so its not so much to get wrong... what build are you using - @CCarreiras?

@CCarreiras and @-niels- I figured it out! It was an easier fix than i anticipated.

Its all about the "scheme", it has to be the "presentation" scheme:

Thanks anyways!

Intriguing... i use the "forest" theme...
I didn't check them all, but i can confirm that it doesn't work for me either when i use the "light" theme.
@johnsonshiue is this a known thing?

HI!

For me works in almost every scheme (tried in a couple, not all), except the default (Winter night).... 🤣
This version 23 is all messed up... 😖

...Anyway, it would be nice to have both options in all layouts schemes!!!

Hi Niels,

Indeed, there seem to be significant difference between Light theme and Dark theme in terms of selection highlight. I am sorry I don't have a good explanation. The combination of effects is very hard to understand. I guess there are choices for users to try and find the suitable one.

Many thanks!
