Hide components in drawing

I am trying to hide some components in a view, but from the view itself I am able to hide only edges.

I remember something about changing the selection priority to part priority, but I have no memory how to do it.

Can somebody explain to me?

Thank you in advance.

Hi

Change the selection priority (Shift + RMB or quick access bar).

Sorry, I don't get it.

What is RMB?

Where is the quick access bar?

1. Right mouse button.

2. At the top of the program window.

These are not Inventor terms, but computer terms.

It is also worth checking the forum before starting another thread on the same topic.

Good for you if you are familiar with those terms. I am not and I am not good at abbreviations.

FYI, I already checked the forum and couldn't find the answer I was looking for.

You don't need to use a tone like I am bothering you, it's not necessary.

Next time ignore my post.

Have a nice day.

Hi! I bet the drawing view is associative to a design view. Edit the drawing view -> uncheck "Associative to DV" box. Then the components can be made invisible in the drawing view.

Many thanks!
