Is this happening to anyone else?

Whenever I leave AutoCAD 2017 (or Civil 3D) running overnight, I arrive in the morning to find this message:

Your license is no longer available.

To re-establish the license, close and then restart this product.

 

I have to comply, or it does indeed, kick me out.

 

This does not happen with any previous version...ever. I have tested and left multiple versions running overnight and AutoCAD 2017 is the only one that drops the license.

This is very frustrating.

I have been running the Network licensing flawlessly since AutoCAD 2000. This is a brand new twist.

Any ideas?

By default the License Manager refreshes overnight. It's possible that
with an idle session that your license expires. You can probably correct
this with an Options file. Why do you keep your AutoCAD running
overnight? That is an odd practice.

I agree with @TravisNave... You should never leave your application running overnight. Hopefully, you save before leaving.

Not overly odd. I often rush out to the bus at the last second and Ctrl-Alt-Del.

You always get a chance to save before AutoCAD goes down, but yes I do save... and shut down most days.

The Options file is basically the same as I have always used.

TIMEOUTALL 900

 

The SAVETIME is set for 10 minutes so the idle time shouldn't be exceeded. 

 

I know that the entire licensing mechanism has been updated for 2017, and since it has never been an issue before, I was hoping someone would have an explanation for the new (seems to me) functionality?
