Everything that you said is not true. There is no difference between the
trial and the full version download. You will still be able to install
updates and add-ons through your account and the Autodesk Access app.

Revit is and was available .. I get it a few times a week for support without an issue .. Could have been your account having an issue and as Travis said: The trial and full are the exact same.
