I'm looking for "General pricing/licensing” information mainly for AutoCAD to justify cost. Basically I'm trying to explain the "Daily Cost" to use AutoCAD however it seems that I can not get a straight answer from anyone. I know a perpetual license used to be in the $3K range (US Dollars) and obviously if you used AutoCAD 24/7 that would work out to about $3.00 a day but that not being realistic.

If you have network versions, you could just a SAM reporting tool to determine how many hours the product is being used.  Then you would have a rough estimate on what to divide it by.  Stand-alones would be much harder to do.  I am, however, currently beta testing a product designed to track Autodesk hours across all products by realtime usage.  I think it will be a very beneficial tool once published.

Not quite certain exactly what you are asking for.  Resellers will provide local prices (which is probably different from where others are), plus any extra's they may include.  Any other value would be highly dependant on your personal situation and how you want to analyze the numbers: how much is charged to clients, how much actual work is done, how long you expect to spread the initial cost over, method of billing clients... nobody except you is going to know that information.

Yeah, that's right. I don't think there is any magic formula for this.
