Network License Error -97,121

acedubai

I'm having an autodesk Architcture engineering construction collection IC  network key error that others seem to have had ("Your application was not able to obtain a license because the FLEXnet license serve manager could not determine where to find the licensing data....").  I've tried the timeout extension fix, without success.  i am geting error -97,121 in ELMTOOLS , i tried to replace with ip address .

Any help would be appreciated.

what version of LMTOOLS are you running? if it isn't the latest version, you will need to upgrade it: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/network-license-administration/get-ready-network-lic...

Please note that the installation path has changed for this version (goes to C:\Autodesk instead of C:\Program Files).

This means that the Config Services tab on LMTOOLS will need to be reconfigured:

-lmgrd.exe file: should be under C:\Autodesk\Network License Manager\lmgrd.exe

-license file: save under the same location as lmgrd.exe- C:\Autodesk\Network License Manager

-debug log file: browse to C:\Autodesk\Network License Manager and type in “debug.log” for file name to create the log file.

You may need to Stop and Start LMTOOLS again for it to take affect

-97 in LMTOOLS generally means that the adskflex.exe is not running.  You can verify this with Task Manager.

Generally this happens for a couple of reasons:  Incompatibility of the NLM with adskflex.exe, IPv6 connectivity to the server itself, firewall, or host/MAC name change.

You might be able to determine this from the debug log file.  If you post it here, we can help you.

Good Luck!

your operating system isn't supported, so that is why you are getting the error "21:38:03 (lmgrd) CreateProcess error code: 0xc1 File= adskflex.exe".

the supported operating systems are listed with the download: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-network-license-manager...

you will need a new license file since that server will have a different server name and MAC address. You can try the activation and registration chat to get a new license file: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/contactus/installation-activation/activation-registration

You can also create a case through your Autodesk Account to request a new license file

Creating case: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/account-management/subscription-management/support-o...

You can also try requesting a license file directly through registeronce. you will need your serial number, server name, and MAC address on hand: http://help.autodesk.com/view/INSTALL_LICENSE/2016/ENU/?guid=GUID-1A5CCC42-0E4F-4C3A-BB99-3C807D8740...
