That can be misleading which could be caused by NIC Teaming... Are users able to get a license from the license manager?

This happens sometimes if you have a virtual machine or if you are running two NICs that are teamed.  What version is your LMTOOLS?

What I can tell you is this... it doesn't really matter if it shows ffffffffffff as long as the actual MAC of the system matches the .LIC file.

If you open a CMD prompt and type

GETMAC

It will give you the MAC address(es) of the machine.

Keep me posted on this.

The Machine uses 2 network cards and has been running fine. I had switched the License file to point to the new one for Civil3D 2016 to test for for deployment and it worked, switched back after the test and everything was good.... then I tried to switch again and now nothing works... I have updated to the new version nlm11.13.1.2_ipv4_ipv6_win64 before I started testing the deployment of Civil3D2016.

Make sure you stop the server and that the lmgrd.exe and adskflex.exe processes are not still resident in Task Manager.  Start the license service again from LMTOOLS and post your Status Enquriy/Debug log file if you still have problems.  This is definitely fixable, so don't sweat it.  🙂

Does your MAC address from the command prompt match your .LIC file?

Yes the MAC adress for the ethernet match the lic file but in the LMTOOLS it is still ffffffff

Yeah, don't worry about what LMTOOLS shows.  You have a debug.log file to show?

I suspect we might be able to resolve this with version 11.7.
