Deployment Options AutoCAD MEP 2016 do not stay on!!!

I've had to recreate a couple deployments for Building Design Suites.

But now for some reason my new deployment that includes AutoCAD MEP 2016 did not install the Sub-Components.

I checked with 'Create and Modify a deployment' and sure enough the 4 options were not on! I went ahead and turned them on and clicked Create to do the update... but they still are not installing.

Is there a work around. Please help!

Are you doing a silent install?  You might uncheck that option if so and see if it appears during an install.

Typically, I use traditional deployment/install, where I go from machine to machine to do the installation and then add subsequent configuration.  This time however, we've elected to build an IT IMAGE that we will deploy to each machine... in essense their machine will be freshly re-imaged hopfully returning some performance back to the user

The initial IMAGE (for testing) has been created. I've done a test install and checked out for success. That's when I discovered the Sub-Components were missing.

So, I need to edit the installation of the machine were using to build the image from and then rebuild the IMAGE and retest for success.

(I'd like to fix the deployment too, if there is a method to do so.)

I'd like a method to add the Sub-Components only if possible.

I am wondering if this is a known issue with the BDS Premium?... that perhaps doesn't exist in the Ultimate Suite?

(I've discovered that I hate the new method to do service packs)

Are you trying to do a full system image (Windows and Autodesk) preconfigured?  Are your Autodesk products stand-alone or network?  Because you do not want to disk image a stand-alone installation.

Yes... a full system image Windows and Autodesk. Preconfigured? No; AutoCAD MEP is the only software that we customize... but we are leaving that for after the image. The only machines we are planning on using the IMAGE are the machines that draw a Network License. Standalones have to be authorized differently... There are only 3 of those... all the rest are Net licnesed.

This case has escallated to Autodesk support.
