Deleting a local tool library

Hi,

Fusion is not allowing me to delete a tool library that is listed under "Local".

Does anyone have any pointers of how to go about this, please?

Help is very much appreciated. I've attached a screengrab to illustrate that I'm not getting the "delete library" option when right clicking.

Thanks in advance.

From your screen capture it seems you are right clicking on the wrong location.  You want to right click on a "particular" library under the Local category list and you will see the Delete command.  You will have to do delete multiple local libraries one at atime.

Hi @jhackney1972 ,

Thanks for your speedy response. That is actually where I am right clicking. Its probably not clear in the attachment, but I am not clicking the word 'local' I am trying to remove the libraries contained with the local library. I'm hoping i dont have to delete each tool contained within  there one by one.

@tony3W49B you can't delete from the "Local" drop down, you need to select the next folder down, such as:

Hi @seth.madore ,

Thanks for your response.

Please see below. Its not until I get to the individual tools, within the sub folders, that I get the option to delete.

Huh. I don't think I've ever seen libraries with individual tools listed on the browser side. What happens when you revert to the old tool library in Preferences > Preview Features?

Where did you download that tool library from, or was it one of your own creations?

@seth.madore

Its still the same, not giving me the delete option until I get to the individual tool contained within the sub folders.

Thanks for the suggestion.

What is the file structure in your tools folder? Seems like maybe the higher-level ones are actually folders?

@jeff.pekseems to be the case. The files were imported from a manufacturers files.

Looks like I'll have to delete the tools one by one.

Never mind, thanks all for your help.
