Doosan Mill/turn post c axis feedrate issue

Hi,

From my little understanding of c axis milling. I think the issue is when the post is using DPM and the post outputs a small C move combined with a Z move. The resulting feed is far to small, causing the tool to no longer cut at the programmed feed rate.

Z-12.481 C275.257 F157.9
Z-1. C275.096 F5.02

Thanks,

Richard

I'm having the same issue on my Haas SY20SSY. Machining two large flats on a circle. My 2D contour feature (around the outside) is commanding 840mm/min, but the g code (at a suitable location, in the middle of the part) changes as the diameter changes (i.e. pass 1 is F 446, pass 2 is F 475, pass 2 F 505, ) Pass 2 was actually taking 7 seconds, but a 32mm path at 840mm/min should take 2.3s.

It currently seems like few people are dealing with this issue, so maybe I will just apply a fudge factor to get it to work.

Most of my issues have been in the linking moves, lead in and lead out. On occasions leads have been F0.01??!!

My work around has been changing the posted feed manually where needed. Fake it, til you make it
