Enhance Search capabilities when adding an Item to Affected Items Would like advanced search capabilities when adding affected items to changes. Currently, it looks like you can only do a single search on a single word. It would be great to be able to search/filter by wildcards and/or multiple item properties.

When selecting a classification for an item (using the new-ish "classification manager" database) it'd be helpful to be allowed to search for classifications. When your classification database has 50+ classifications in multiple levels, it can be difficult for a less-familiar user to find what they are looking for. A simple filter or search bar could save tons of time and improve accuracy in finding the right class.

I'd like search to return results from attachment metadata, specifically the filename and description.

Often when I search in AD I get a large number of results that contain my search terms. It would be great to have a checkbox to 'search within current results' allowing me to apply further search refinements or search terms to the current results.

We have an issue with deleted items in PLM. It causes some confusion when searching for a document or item and you see it in the search results twice. It woiuld be nice if there could be a flag in the search results that will tell you which items are deleted without having to open the item. Another idea, maybe, would be to have none of the deleted items show in the search result unless you have the correct permissions or select some sort of filter to allow deleted items to be viewable. In order to save a click, I propose a function that automatically "selects" the text field in the search bar, once the magnifying glass icon has been selected. I for one, am used to being able to type away as soon as I've selected "search", but as it stands now, one must select the magnifying glass icon to make the text field visible, then select the text field in order to enter a search query.

It has been found that each user requires to create couple of views to view specific data and it requires lot of effort to build a view which is almost the same as an existing view with cosmetic changes to filtering criteria. Therefore it would be better to have SaveAs feature on Edit View dialog/screen which saves good amount of time for users in creating views.

When we got to use the Search button on the tenant/workspace toolbar, we got to click on the search button once (which brings text box to enter the search text) and click on the opened text box next to be able to input the search text. It would be great if the first click on the search button opens the text box to enter the search text and takes control to that rather than waiting for the user to click on that box. As most of the application with search capability does it, it would be a great feature to see it in FLC.
