we should be able to configure a global Default view for a workspace so when a new user is added they have whatever we decide the initial view should be. currently the PLM default view doesn't not match what I would rather a New Viewer to see. I like that we can configure our own views, but I'd really like it if we as admins can dictate what the initial view is.

I've seen that the custom views created in the item viewer are not avaliable for other users. Is there a way to do this? As administrator I'd like to create some default views for all the users

It would be great to have the ability to have reports run on a certain time interval and then emailed automatically. The time interval and recipients could be chosen when setting up the report. Either having the report printed in html in the body of the email or have an excel file attached to the email would work. For example: I would like a report to run every Friday and be sent to certain people. Thanks! Matt

Currently in Fusion Lifecycle, scripting access in the attachments tabs is limited to many read only features. With the recent introduction to Fusion Team (cloud PDM), it opens many good options. I would like to see scripting features which allow me from Fusion Lifecycle to access Fusion Team. For example, create a folder in Fusion Team, rename files, or automatically find and attach files. Here's a simple case scenario. In Fusion Lifecycle I have a design process work flow. When my design is approved, I want to upload the assembly and solid models so manufacturing can view. During the workflow transition it would be nice if I could program a consistent folder structure in my Fusion Team rather than have people manually creating the folders and naming it incorrectly or placing folder in the wrong area. Another scenario is I have a product catalog with product drawings. If I have 100 product records in Fusion Lifecycle, I also have 100 drawings, 1 for each product record. With Fusion Team I can now place and manage all 100 drawings in a folder. The only issue is I have to go into each record, and still manually choose the correct drawing. (i.e D10 record needs D10.pdf). Or if I have to remove all 100 drawings and replace them with new drawings, again I will need to update each record. It would be nice if I could program to automatically find and attach the correct drawing. If recordname = D10, find D10.pdf file id and attach. If this could be done, it would be an even bigger game changer for our business.

I have heard many requests for this, so I thought I would take the initiative to post it here in the IdeaStation. It would be nice for an Administrator to have the ability to post a global announcement/message to all PLM 360 users home page. There are times when information needs to be passed on to all users (maybe a change in functionality or internal maintenance etc.) and when users log in and go to their home page, a banner or announcement box at the top with this information would be very useful. A lot of people using our tenant find the auto logout feature to either be far too short, or missing a prompt warning that they are be about to be logged out. Websites such as barclays do provide a warning when the logout timer is approaching. For our case I am having team members frequently telling me they were filling in an item and the phone rang, they went back to the item, filled it all in, pressed save and it lost all the data they had typed due to inactivity.

Hello, It would be very useful to add "classification" as a field in the report, as well as any related class fields (although simply the former would be a good start). I had assumed this would be possible when going with the newer class structure while setting up my tenant, and was pretty bummed to see it missing. It seems as though if you can populate this field on import, you should be able to export it as well? I know this is probably in the works already (since the reporting tool even lists "Classification Structure" with nothing populated) but I figured I'd post anyhow. Thanks

It is highly tedious and annoying to attach a pdf or a dwg file to a list of items in a workspace. Having the ability to bulk upload attachments to specific items in a workspace would be ideal for mass drawing updates or file updates. One solution would be importing a zip file of the attaching files and an excel file that would have the item descriptor in one column and the corresponding file name in the other column.

I have a simple picklist, 1 to 5, for a scoring record. However when you change from a default drop down box to radio button, they display as a vertical list of the options, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. It would be good to have the option to make the radio buttons list horizontal or vertical. Improving the amount of space a form takes up on screen. Thanks in advance.
