mouse wheel zoom won't work

Hi, thanks for this Anwer day!

Lately when I open Fusion, the mouse wheel ZOOM won't load until several minutes after I ran the program. Sometimes it doesn't load it at all. the wheel does work in everything else though, so is not the mouse. Why is it happening? Is it a common problem?

Phil,

with the gesture add-in disabled I don't need shift to scroll through the timeline, the two finger scroll on the trackpad works fine. The pinch to zoom and two finger pan (especially this one) is a bit wonky, but workable.

Hello Phil,

I received the message that there was a new update installed and see whats new..

After starting my mouse wasn't responding to the Zoom on the weel... when i click the wheel and move arround that works so the wheel was working..   whatever i tried ( reboot, restart... no function with Zoom )

Then use my mate google and found this topic.. read from 2016 till .61   but can't find the real solution..   tried the Quick Setup changed settings to see what would happen.. but no scroll..

( I still work on a Windows 7 machine )

Any link to the latest update ??

Best Regards,

Leon.

@leon_airo Sorry to hear you are having troubles. I don't have secret links to unreleased updates, sorry.

Is this problem happening for you 100% of the time? If it is, can you try another mouse to see if it's your mouse or Fusion acting up?

Hello Phil,

Thanks for the reply, yes it happens the whole time..  the wheel is working with other features in the program.

I will try to test on a different computer to see if that will make a difference.

Best Regards,

Leon.

whenever this happens to me, I manually do the zoom once and the scroll zoom functionality is restored.

The same behavior started relatively recently.  Definitely associated with Fusion only and, as nothing has changed with the system, is likely associated with a Fusion update.

I hadn't dug into the forum for answers assuming, for some unknown reason, that it was limited to my system--apparently not.  It happens very consistently but not continually.  I have figured out crutch solutions, e.g. clicking on the zoom icon--often works, but have found nothing that restores it consistently.

System is Win8.1, Logitech M310 mouse.

I'd really like to see this fixed!

Phil,

As noted in posts 9 and 12, the 'enable scrolling' option does not exist on 8.1.

I downloaded WizMouse, a free mouse utility, and thus far have not had any recurrences of the problem in 360.

Best,

Paul

Hello everyone!

In case this is happening to someone in 2020, it just happened to me.

After reinstalling Fusion mouse wheel zoom function won't work properly. It did work for a few seconds but then stoped. However, after restarting Fusion it did start work and I don't seem to have had any more issues since then.

WIshing everyone good luck!

Clicking on the browser bar worked for me to get my zoom back. FYI I am on a MacBook pro, with a Microsoft mouse.
