how to remove hard edge?

I am not very familiar with fusion 360 but came from a background of 3d max and blender so please forgive my ignorance and/or stupidity. i am trying to model a guitar that i am going to be 3d printing and maybe fabricating out of stainless steel in the future but for now i am struggling with making the transition between the curved edge and flat top as i keep getting a sharp edge that i dont want. is there a way that i can get rid of this sharp edge or am i doing something wrong.image_2021-12-27_173451.png

This is the edge that i want to get rid of. i came to this point by making some curved pieces with the form tools and using them to split the body of a solid object.

This is the form,s that i used to split the body objects. am i doing something wrong or am i missing something. i am guessing that i have to make the top form as though i was making the whole top but that seems rather complicated to make as i want a flat top and i would have too many points to deal with.

Thanks for any advice or help that may be provided

You'll need to share the model (export as .f3d and attach it to the next post).

I am looking at the model now. Not using a timeline on such a model is not a good idea.

If I interpret this correctly you also intend to trim T-Spline-based surfaces with other T-spline-based surfaces. Not recommended! It usually leaves horrible curvature on the edges, which will sometimes interfere with further modeling.

I flattened the top vertices to a parallel plane before filling it with faces. So my question is: Why not fill it with more T-Spline faces?

Thats prity much what i am looking for. So would i use that to split the boby and delete what is not necessary or am i doing it wrong. Sorry this is a different proses than i am used to and i am just getting my head around it.

Thank you so much for your help

I was aiming for a specific hight so that i could calculate a depth that would be just enough for the pickups. Thats why i was using t splines to remove from the body as i made it to the hight that i wanted. Can i define the hight of a t spline. I thill try the way you have suggested and see what i can do

Thanks for all your help
