I hope as my skills continue to improve that I end up with the kindness and patience of @TheCADWhisperer when working with new people.
@autodeskmod is this the tone you want your customers to see when they are starting out?
Especially for student use where we have to show our work in a stepwise fashion due to plagiarism, or paying someone to do our projects. I said previously I export to SVG and DXF at times (one of them ls locked out in the "Free" version.)
This includes the sketches so that the professors can see that we did our own work since there is "More than one way to do it." This was for "2d design"
@kowalski
Here are some ideas. I'll elaborate on how I did this if you want.
This was done in a combination of fusion, and inkscape. Then cut out on a trotec 400. The class was called 2d design so my 3d design was flattened in a sketch....so I could export it (AKA PRINT IT OUT) and then put into the Laser as an SVG.

I detailed some very good uses that I apply frequently in my art projects.
I started in 3d https://www.instagram.com/p/DEa7gbTyM3l/?img_index=4
Then projected into 2d to get all the tracery lines: https://www.instagram.com/p/DEa7gbTyM3l/?img_index=2
Then exported the sketch (AKA PRINTED IT OUT) in SVG to import into Inkscape. So then the laser could handle it.

I used multiple SKETCH LAYERS to then set the colors on the vector lines which then tell the laser which speed, power, and focus depth to use. (Because it's just another CNC)
The final part I ran out of time for was to then also take the piece off the laser with locating pins and then use a v carve bit on the edges for details more like Waterford cut glass.
Here I set up the initial geometry for the roses in Fusion see the Dard Rose File PDF;
Fusion to do the setups, way too many pattern on path, then flatten with a project sketch one per sets of lines and export as PDF and out to inkscape and the laser. This is a privacy screen for my window.
