Fusion Locked in Upload

Fusion is once again locking into upload mode, but I can’t see anything being uploaded. In spite of having deleted any files for save or upload, cleared user cache numerous times, deleted jobs.json and jobs.json.lck files, deleted UploadQeuedFileList.xml and restarted numerous times. The minute I open Fusion now it goes into a 160+kB/s upload even though nothing is being saved, etc. Nothing shows up in A360 either as being saved/uploaded. Everything else is bogged down as this is taking much of much of my bandwidth. How do I get this to stop??

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear you are having a problem with Fusion constantly trying to upload something. I haven't come across this problem before and am not sure what might be going on.

Could you please send us your diagnostic logs so we can try to analyze the problem?

You can either post them here or send them directly to saket dot satta at autodesk dot com

Thanks,

Hi,

Thanks for providingthe logs. I analyzed them and it looks like Fusion is trying to upload a file to the cloud using an id that has somehow been deleted from the servers. So its failing to complete the upload.

Please try the following steps to fix this problem:

1. Close Fusion

2. Make a copy of the following file and call it something different (eg UploadQueuedFileList_backup.xml😞 /Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/RH2WP9X66V3E/W.login/UploadQueuedFileList.xml

3. Delete the original xml file

4. Restart Fusion.

Let me know if it fixes the problem.

Thanks,

Saket Satta

Hi Saket,

Yes, that did it - thank you!! For future reference in case something like this happens again, is that UploadQueuedFileList.xml file always in the same location?

Thanks again!

Hi Jim,

I'm glad that worked for you. The UploadQueuedFileList.xml file will always in the same location for the account your are currently using.

If you change that account it will be in a similar location but under a different account id folder.

i.e. /Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/<new account id>/W.login/UploadQueuedFileList.xml

@Anonymous - unfortunately, I'm thinking this is likely related to the outage we're currently working through, mentioned here.

Yup sounds like it. Thanks for the reply. Any news on when it might be up
and working again?
