Why do FBX objects import with such low polygon count?

I'm importing some FBX parts (made by others, bought by me) that look beautiful in their renders on TurboSquid, but when I insert them into F360 projects, they look like something dug up from the original Super Mario era. Very low-rez, low-poly objects that are useless.

I've imported plenty of other objects in a variety of formats that look fine. As for these objects, however, the screenshot I'm attaching says it all.

What am I doing wrong?

Huge thanks in advance!

@jerryhatchett

Fusion is not to blame for this, whoever saved the models saved them in that low resolution. Since they are triangulated you will need to contact the author and have them save out higher resolution meshes.

These objects were modeled in a mesh modeler or Subdivision Surface modeler such a Maya, Modo, Cinema 4D or Blender.

The model you have is simply the control mesh for that subdivision model. The model was triangulated either in the process of exporting or in the process of importing it in Fusion 360.

I believe that triangulation can easily removed in Blender. If you attach the file to you next post I can give it a try.

I discovered exactly what you guys said when I emailed tech support at TurboSquid. Since every model I've bought from there has the problem, no matter the format, I'm guessing that their site is responsible for saving the objects like this? It seems pretty silly that I download objects all the time from a dozen other sites that work perfectly, yet when I break down and actually buy parts from them, I get low-rez junk that's unusable. To their credit, they converted the files for me, and they offer this as a free service when you buy something from them, but since they can't convert to Fusion 360 format, there's still work ahead.
