Connect line endpoints when using "Pattern"

I would like to create a 3D object that looks like a clock, with center facing posts. I have created the basic sketch, but the final step is connecting the points to make the posts so I can extrude to make the 3D object. However, when I create a spline and set the curvature to match the construction circle, the patterned arcs do not connect to the exist line endpoints.

I am aware of the "trim" function and how to use that instead, but ultimately I want to be able to scale the size of the circles later, and trimming every time is inefficient. Is there a simpler way to do this?

Hi @Anonymous.

Could you share the F3D file what you have now, and/or a picture of your objective?

sounds like your patterning the sketch objects.  you'll probably get better results patterning in the solid environment.  hard to say without visuals.
