Can't extrude text

I created the text identically for each line but the one line beginning 'Countless...' returns an error- Inconsistent Edge Face Relationship'. I deleted it and created it again to no avail.

The same problem existed for the line below, 'and many...' but when I recorded the screencast it actually worked.

Thanks for helping!

David

PS - my screencast didn't show up in the dropdown so here's the link -

Still a problem - nothing like fixing bugs.

It won't help if you don't provide any details.  Which font are you using? What is your workflow? Are you exploding the text, extruding it, or just creating the toolpath directly?  Attach your file and a screencast if you are interested in having Autodesk fix the issue.  Just complaining is not effective.

can confirm that this bug still exists. I extruded the text fine. Then I added a new text and suddenly I can't extrude at all. font change doesn't help either.

Hi,

Please start a new thread, share the file and tell what font is used.

File > export > save as f3d on local drive  > attach it to the post.

Hi,

Please start a new thread and attach a sample file to your question.

File > Export > save as f3d on local drive > attach to post

I had this same issue with a custom font. However, after switching the file format of the font from otf to ttf, I could extrude it. Since I'm on a mac, all I had to do was delete the existing font from the Font Book application and replace it with the ttf file. You can convert otf files to ttf files online too so it was really easy. Don't forget to restart Fusion 360 after you've replaced the file though.
