Can not open a design neither at myhub.autodesk nor iOS A360 app

Hi guys,

I have a weired problem. Designing my DIY CNC-Machine it is no problem to open, modify and save it in Fusion360 on my Mac.

But it is not possible to open it on myhub.autodesk.com. If I want to do it, I get this sign:

When I want to have a look at it on my A360 app on my iPhone I get this information:

IMG_3458.PNG

Maybe you can give me a hint what I did wrong...

Best regards,

  Holger

Hi Holger,

For the issue related to myhub.autodesk.com, do you mean there is no thumbnail? If so, could you try saving a new version in Fusion 360 and then see if it makes any differences? If you click the small picture with the red exclamation mark, can you see the 3D preview of your model?

Regarding the message shown in the app, could you add the key information in English? I don’t read Dutch (is it?), and google translator doesn’t give me any meaningful message as well. 😞

If the issue only happens to the specific design, would it be possible to invite me into your project so I could dig into the problem and try to figure out a workaround. (My email address: lixiong.xu@autodesk.com)

Hi Nicolas,

nice to hear from you!

The problem is not the thumbnail. The problem is, that I cannot view the 3D model neither in my browser nor in the A360 app on my iPhone. From my point of view this issue could be realted to another one of me: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/design-validate-document/fusion-crashes-after-switching-on-design-his...

The error message (it's German) says: "The file does not contain a plan. Try to upload the file again, or call us to get support." and the error code FANF-661.

Its is weired that I can edit the project in Fusion360.

I did the following things, even if they make no sense 😉 :

* saving the model as a complete new file (not only a version)

* break any linked component

* save another file 🙂

In no case I was able to open the file in myhub or in the iPhone app. I have invited you to my project. Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

 Holger

I have exactly the same problem. In my case sometimes after a few days the viewer works all of a sudden..  However, the app on my Android Phone seems to have no problems showing the models or whatsoever.

Hi Ewaldson,

The problem Holger mentioned was caused by a bad animation data in the file. We have made some changes to prevent it from happening to new files. However, for existing files, the viewer will not re-genarate viewing data automatically.

The issue you encountered looks a little different with that one, because the viewer works sometimes. It could be caused by service degradation or network issue. Could you share us the model that you saw the problem so we can take a close look?

You can either Export the entire file as .F3d format or Share Public Link with me by enabling the download permission. Both commands are available under the File menu.

Hi Ewaldson,

I just learnt that there is a similar issue related to the browser cookies. Can you try and clear your browser cookies and see if it works?
