How do you create Layers in Fusion 360? Just wondering how to organize all the 2D sketches.

Use components and keep the sketches for each part in the components. See this Tip

Hughes, thanks for the tip.
If there is any info on organizing imported dxf/dwg data would be a great help.

Each layer in a DXF will be converted into an individual sketch in Fusion, the sketch will have the same name as the layer from the DXF. As you create parts from the sketches first I'd create a component and drag the sketches needed into the new component.

A bit more information on DWG/DXF imports. Any blocks in the DWG will be converted into components, although this can be quite useful there's a bug in Fusion at the moment that scales all sketches in the components up by 10. See this thread.
