Accepted Solutions lets you mark the reply that best answers your question. Once a reply is accepted, the question and the solution get special icons and direct links, making it easy to navigate from the question to the answer. You can spot Accepted Solutions by looking for the green ‘Accepted Solution’ icon while scrolling through the board or by using the ‘Accepted Solution’ filter at the top of the board. Marking replies as Accepted Solutions not only shows appreciation to those who help answer your questions, but also ensures that future community visitors can quickly and easily find the best solutions, thus contributing to making the Autodesk Community a more welcoming and helpful place for everyone.
Topics that have an Accepted Solution can be identified by the green ‘Accepted Solution’ icon on the activity feed.
Accepted Solutions are marked by the community member who started the topic, as well as by Community Managers and Expert Elite members, who will follow up on topics to help members’ questions get answered with the closest and best answer to the question.
How do I mark a reply as a solution?
To mark a reply as a solution (you must be the original poster of a topic), click the ACCEPT SOLUTION button at the bottom of the reply.
If you change your mind and the marked solution does not work, you can unmark the post as an accepted solution. To revoke an Accepted Solution, click the ellipsis (···) menu > Not the Solution.
You can either pick a different solution or leave the question unresolved. Remember, marking your posts with an accepted solution helps other community members facing the same issue – so don't hesitate to mark replies that answer your question as a solution!
