Visual bug - housing tool

Good morning,

While using the housing tool, I encountered a bug regarding the visualization of the buildings in Forma.

As seen in screenshots 1, the house appears to be separated from the bounding box. Yet, when I use the sun analysis tool (screenshot 2), the house is in the right position. So the bug only appears to be visual. It occours when I draw a single house, or multiple on line.

I’ve already restarted Forma and the project, created multiple different versions of the house, yet the bug remains.

I would like to hear if there is a solution for this bug.

Hi Oscar!

You are correct, thanks for letting us know! There was introduced a bug on Friday where houses with non-default gable/ridge directions would visualize wrongly. I have deployed a fix and the problem should be resolved now. You would need to refresh the site before the fix takes effect.
