How to keep a line in the middle between dynamic frame?

Hello guys,

Let's say I have a rectangle with a vertical short line which sits in the middle of its width. I mean that inside the rectangle I have a vertical line in equal distance from the left side and the right side of the rectangle. Image attached to demonstrate it. Let's say its a dynamic block meaning I can change the rectangle's width by linear stretch. I want that the short verical line would stay in the width's middle (if you're asking, it will used as a mirror / symmetry line). by the way, there is no necessity that the line would stay in the height's middle.

Must say that I looked for it in the internet but didn't find something for it although im sure it's already somewhere in the internet, probably my searching wasn't proper. If there is a method to do it, I think it will be valid for different circumstances as well. Hope there is a simple solution for it, and thank you very much in advance.

Add either a stretch or move action to your linear parameter and change the distance multiplier to 0.5. See the image below

...or set the parameters base to mid and add a stretch to each end.

It is absolutely amazing that you did a search and didn't find a good result.  This is one of the most common questions asked on this forum - every week or so.  A quick search of 'centered stretch' gave 184 results!  Different search queries would probably net a hundred more on the same subject.

Thank you very much. Thanks to you reply I now know the distance multiplier function so its helped me to search more about this topic.

Thanks. I looked into some videos and forum solutions but didnt manage to do it in the software, probably due to my poor wording. Also im new to CAD and dynamic blocks.
