Fixed Issues in Autodesk Civil 3D 2023.2
This document lists product fixes included in Autodesk Civil 3D 2023.2.
API
Fixed an API issue for SuperelevationCurveCollection.ImportSuperelevationDataFromFile() in which superelevation data would not be imported from an external file in some cases.
Fixed an error in the .NET API SubassemblyCollection::importParamToSubassembly. This API is used import parameters from an ATC file. Prevously this API required the DataType string to be capitalized. Now it is no longer case sensitive.
Fixed an issue in which Part.PartDescription returned the part size name instead of the part description in the catalog.

Fixed an issue in which the user entitlement was not checked for PromoteReference and PromoteAllReferences functions.
Fixed an issue in which it was not possible to set the data shortcut working folder to an Autodesk Docs project folder with View + Download permissions.
Fixed an issue in which custom properties were missing when dragging and dropping sheet set files to the cloud or when multiple users were working on the same sheet set file to add custom properties.
Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS
Fixed an issue that would cause geometry to import with an offset after saving back objects to ArcGIS in the NH83 and NH83F coordinate systems.
Fixed an unexpected error that would occur when importing imagery data from ArcGIS Online in which the selected area was out of the coordinate system extents.
Autodesk Grading Optimization
Fixed an unhandled exception that would occur when running the Grading Optimization tool for some drawings.
Autodesk Vault

Fixed an issue in which Vault references could not be created when the source drawing’s folder was not opened in the Prospector tree.
Catchments
Fixed an issue in which the velocity was not shown for the catchment shallow flow in flow segments.
Fixed an issue in which the runoff coefficient in the catchment creation dialog box did not work.
Coordinate Systems
Fixed an issue that would occur when opening a DWG file with a custom coordinate system in which a blank library would be generated.
Fixed an issue in which it was not possible to create a cropped surface in a drawing with a UCS assigned to it.
Fixed an issue in which latitude and longitude and grid coordinates were different when using a Map 3D coordinate system and Civil 3D coordinate system.
Corridors
Fixed an issue in which geometry locking was not working for corridors that used feature lines as baselines.
Fixed a stability issue that would occur when rebuilding all corridors in a drawing.
Fixed an issue in which the direction of the marker label arrow was incorrect in the Corridor Section Editor.
Fixed an issue in which the Create Boundary From Corridor command did not create a boundary for each corridor region or the offset baseline part of the corridor.
Fixed an issue in which a corridor would become out of date after saving the drawing.
Fixed an issue in which geometry locking was not working for corridors that used feature lines as baselines.
Fixed an issue in which a corridor surface would not be automatically rebuilt after editing its boundary.
Cross Sections
Fixed an issue in which updating the feature line label style in the Properties Palette for a projected or crossing feature line would not update the style in the the Cross Section View properties.
Data Shortcuts
Fixed an issue in which data shortcut projects were unable to load from SharePoint when it was mapped to a network drive.
Fixed an issue in which a data shortcut reference could not be created for a corridor with an offset alignment.
Grading
Fixed an issue in which grading creation would not succeed when using certain parameters.
Fixed an issue in which gradings would have incorrect results when created from feature lines with curves.
Miscellaneous
Reduced the probability of encountering an issue in which the Adjust Mapcheck command does not generate the adjustment data files in Notepad successfully when using Windows 11.
Parcels
Fixed a stability issue that would occur when deleting parcel segments and then using the UNDO and PURGE commands.
Performance
Improved performance when opening a drawing when the Civil 3D workspace was set as the current workspace.
Pipe Networks
Fixed an issue in which the catchment total area shown in the structure properties was not correct when the time of concentration was not calculated.
Added the ability to show the front view of a structure boundary when the structure projection was unsuccessful in certain angles.
Fixed an issue in which a pipe that was projected onto a profile view looped back to the closest perpendicular location and was displayed incorrectly in the profile view.
Fixed an issue in which curves were shown at the start and end of a pipe.
Fixed an issue in which pipe label anchor points were incorrect in profile view.
Fixed an issue in which pipes were resized when the pipe slope was changed.
Added a function in which the part size name will be regenerated according to the part size in the part list.
Fixed an issue in which the wrong structures were shown in the gravity network analysis report.
Fixed an issue in which the structure width parameter was not shown in the structure label properties drop-down list.
Fixed an issue in which the pipe’s label attachment location was influenced by pipe direction.
Plan Production
Fixed a layout issue that would appear on the Sheets page of the Create View Frames wizard.
Pressure Networks
Fixed an issue in which the Enable Part Masking option did not work for fitting or appurtenance styles that used the Display as User-Defined Block setting.
Improved the performance of moving a pressure pipe run PI.
Improved the performance of continuing to lay out a pipe run.
Added a message to show information about the deleted pressure parts when editing a pipe run.
Added a function so that when two or more continuous pipes share a line/arc element of an alignment, you can delete one of them and another pipe will extend to cover the deleted pipe’s length.
Fixed an issue in which the pressure part at the end of a pipe run was rotated after relinking the pipe run.
Fixed an issue in which the pressure pipe 3D length was not correct when the pipe run contained multiple vertical segments.
Fixed an issue in which hatches didn’t work in curved pressure pipes.
Fixed an issue in which the pressure network fitting style was not from the Parts List when parts were swapped automatically due to edits.
Fixed an issue in which a 2-port hydrant did not have slide grips.
Provided a method to fix an issue in which pressure parts were missing in the Prospector tree and were not appearing in data referenced drawings. Now selecting Refresh in the pressure network context menu will resolve the issue in source drawings. This issue can be resolved in data referenced drawings after resolving the source drawing and synchronizing the data references.
Rail
Fixed an issue in which the applied cant lines would not be displayed on the cant band of a profile view in some specific conditions.
Reference Templates
Fixed a stability issue that would occur when opening some specific drawings that use reference templates in different versions. Note that this issue is fixed when working with Civil 3D 2022.2 and a later version of the software.
Fixed an issue in which reference styles were lost when adding a grid surface from a data shortcut.

When creating plan production sheets, the sheet set file, sheet files, and production drawing need to be in the same data storage environment, either on a local drive or a local area network, or in Autodesk Docs.
Corridors
When exporting a corridor transition set on a non-English version of Civil 3D, the Transition Type and Side headers and values will be exported in English.
An invalid corridor transition value may be entered into the Corridor Transition Panorama vista but no indication that the value is invalid will be displayed in the vista. When the transition is applied to the corridor, a warning will be displayed in the Event Viewer and the invalid value will not be applied to the corridor, but the invalid value will still be displayed in the Corridor Transition Panorama vista.
Creating corridor transitions for offset assemblies is not supported.
