Have you ever placed a building in InfraWorks that looks like it's hovering in the sky? What happens is that sometimes the terrain has a lot of relief, and the building will sit with a portion on the ground and the other portion just hanging out in the air.
Sure, you can rotate the building like so:
However, I don't think you want to try to walk, or sleep in this building with that kind of a slope. So, how do we fix this? It's simple.
First, draw a coverage area around the building. Change your Manual Style to None.
Hit the ESC key and you will then see your grips. Adjust to your liking. With the coverage area still highlighted, right-click on it and choose Shape Terrain:
Once you do that, there will be a single arrow. Click the arrow and raise it up. Now your building will sit on a flat surface and look correct!
