Civil 3D 2025 - Layer Manager issue "arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow"

Product Version: 13.7.154.0 Civil 3D 2025.0.1 Update

 

right click to add a new layer and get the error below

 

"Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. 

 

Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow."

 

Can use the command line to edit layers, appears a reinstall in order

@mgallina This solved my issue! I dragged the layer properties over to main screen and I was able to reconcile layers once again. Thank you!

I was getting the same error doing exactly the same thing you did. I did a audit, recovery, purge ... closed drawing and rebooted. still had same error.

I clicked on continue within the error box and it stopped happening. don't remember what message popped up if any.

 

try that and see.
