Hi to all,

I have one question regarding to 3-way valve actuator orientation on isometric, its look like that plant 3d doesn't know where/position is/off the actuator (is it up down/north/west....).

also important information about version

So,

if I create 3-way valve and put hand wheel on this valve

and if i take a look on iso

Please select the Part Type "Valve Body" and then try to generate isometrice.

Hello

Did you find a solution? I have the same problem when I create a 3 Way valve as a custom part. In this case there is no possibility to add it as a valvebody instead of a valve.

Update: The solution for me is to change the type to TYPE=VALVE-3WAY.

Kind regards,

As a solution for this topic can be to use for 3-Way valve the procedure for Multiport valves instead of the procedure for 3-way valves. Try next for 3-way valve:

Iso Symbol Type = VALVE-MULTIWAY

Iso Symbol Skey = MD??

(MDSC, MDFL etc.)

But, by default is the actuator NOT shown.

If you need actuator, you must edit IsoSkeyAcadBlockMap.xml, find next row:

However, I found, that the actuator was wrong directed in some cases in the ISO. You can try to change the actuator direction in the block MPVActuator to Z direction. Edit Block "MPVActuator", rotate graphic around X axis, so finally the actuator will be in  the direction of axis Z. This was solution for me, but, it maybe not works for 100% cases.

If someone will have better idea, I welcome your suggestions. Thank you.

Above steps are only workaround for me, maybe you find better.
