VIEWPORTS - SELECTING

Hi,

I have a 3D model referenced into a drawing, within that model I have a construction (non print) circle.

I am unable to select any part of that circle other than the centre.

OSNAPS are set correctly.

Any idea?

Dean, I think you're snapping to the inside of the 3DSOLID cylinder that is very nearly on top of the circle.  Try snapping to the same circle at the bottom where there's a gap in the cylinder.

BTW, what version of AutoCAD is everyone using??

I'm stuck on 2015 for a while.

Dean may be on a newer version that's been fixed.

That could be why we're having the issue and Dean may not be.

I do not know about 2018 but on 2017 I get the same behavior as 2015. See Screencast for both, 2015 and 2017 versions. Also looking at co-ordinates in status bar in Post 14 screenshot, it seems like it's reading the modelspace co-ordinates.

Yep, been that way since R11 (thats R11 not 2011),  dunno what @pendean is snapping to or his version
