I am trying to make paper model of a complex solid (compound of five cubes). I don't understand how can I make an unfolded flat image which i can print and fold and stick together to make the complete solid. One way I think this can be done is by manually tracing shapes of small surfaces and making it out of that.
But I cant seem to trace the shapes as the software doesn't recognize the intersections of cubes.
Explode the 3D Solid(Every face will be a separate element after exploding) and Move/Rotate the solids to match the expected unfolded view and then print it
