Transparency problem

I have a problem plotting solid hatches with transparency. The hatch is on a layer with 50% transparency. When plotting the whole layout becomes faded like if the line weight is not plotted.

Hi,

some questions:

  • which version of AutoCAD (and service pack) are you using?
  • which visual style does your viewport have (or option "shade plot")
  • have you tried different plotters, e.g. "DWG to PDF.pc3" or which plotter have you tried

Hi,

>> the whole layout becomes faded like if the line weight is not plotted.  <<

  • would you please show us an image for this faded layout.
  • also show us an image for the plot dialog after preparing your settings.

Here you are! I do not have any transparency for any layer! Neither do I have view port override!

Hi,

you started with:
>> I have a problem plotting solid hatches

Now you showed 2 PDF files ... and I can't see any solid hatch in any of that PDF's. What am I missing?

Hi @Anonymous,

Is it possible to share the actual drawing file on a post? I would like to check out what is happening.

Hi @Anonymous,

Have you fixed your problem? I haven't seen a new post from you.

Please let me know your status and if you can share a sample file.

But you can see that one is almost without line weight with plot transparency option on when plotting. Unfortunately I can not put the originals out here because those are company properties.

Hi,

from your first post

>> I have a problem plotting solid hatches with transparency

and now:

>> But you can see that one is almost without line weight with plot transparency option

What does the original question "plotting solid hatches" have to do with your current PDF's ... or do you have a white solid hatch above the layout and therefor you don't see all in full color? I don't know but the data you showed yet does not give us the possibility for straight answers.

If you can't upload your file then please create a new file that shows us a similar situation and show us that file.

Hi,

...and the questions of my first post are not answered yet, not any one of them.
