Re post my lost Ctrl + assingments

I used to have all of my SNAPS set to short cuts.

Typing "CTRL+M" meant "MID point"

Typing "CTRL+Q" meant "Quadrant" and so on.

I had assigned those years ago and haven't a clue how to do it.

If you could just tell me how to set up one, step -by-step, I could do all the others quickly.

Hope to Hear From You -CLIFF

Use CUI

Keyboard Shortcuts

Shortcut Keys

that's where you make the snap shortcuts.

or you can use the help here:

Are you sure you used/remembered them correctly? SHIFT+M is already defined to do MIDpoint for example but you have to hold the combo key down while making the selection.

If I may ask, how where they lost? Did you just upgrade to a newer version or change jobs or change computers?

I did remember to go to CUI, Keyboard, Shortcut Keys.

I don't remember where to pick what in which field.

There are 3 fields, where do I start

As I have said, if I could get the step-by-step instructions for one assignment, I could do all the rest.

Thanks -Cliff

Down to the left side, look for SNAP, then drag it UP to shortcut keys,
go to MACRO on the right hand side and choose CTRL+your letter.

(For me, I'm using F key, not CTRL+a key)

The architect I had been working for for the last 17 years, used the COVID pandemic as a reason to retire.

All my custom assignments stayed with the Office computer.

Yes, the snaps are already assigned.

However, all the keys are not easily reached with one hand.

So, we arranged the keys to be reachable by just the left hand, leaving the right hand for the mousse.

As in:

Ctrl+2 for Mid (sort of divide by 2)

Ctrl+3 for Per (sort of the 3 points of a square symbol)

Ctrl+Q for Qua

Ctrl+X for Int (sort of X marks the spot)

Again,  make them reachable with just the Left hand.

That's the why.

Now I need the how.

How do I drag a snap to a shortcut key that is not listed.

Do, I create the keys first?

And the upper right display looks nothing like the one in your display.

The upper right display is titled " Shortcuts"

I am now 71 and have forgotten most of what I once new.

So, again, I need step-by-step proceedure.

Thanks -Cliff

Most of the snap keys are in there, which one do you need?

This is the screen shot of 2021, it's the same way to customize.

pendean and patchy, I remember you from days long past. I 've been away too long. I 'm not sure how it happened, but after reading all of suggestions, I've got it working like I used to.
Thanks so very much.
Look forward to reading your replies in the future.
