Hi,
Is the model browser available in the student versions of AutoCAD 2015 and AutoCAD Plant 3D 2015???
I clicked everywhere and never found a place where I can activate this "can't live without" feature.
Thanks.

As a "life critical need" I think I would want to know at least the name of the software.
Are you sure your prior experience is with AutoCAD?
I guess there was a period of time (for one release I think) when Autodesk did call it AutoCAD Inventor on the box, but the program has always been Inventor (at least I think that is what you are after).

Does this look familiar?
I used AutoCAD back in 2005, I don't remember if there was a model browser... I just assumed there was a model browser as in Solidworks, PTC Creo, etc.
Thanks both for clarifying.
Autodesk Inventor is the Autodesk product equivalent of SolidWorks or Creo.
If you have used SolidWorks or Creo - Inventor will look very familiar to your (sounds like I just saved your life).
You are comparing Apples to Watermellons.
Students can download Autodesk Inventor for free from here http://www.autodesk/edcommunity
