Joining curved lines

Hi,

I've noticed that when I try to join a series of straight lines, that also contains curves into a polyline, and I select by window/crossing, autocad will not necessarily join the lines in order, but will "choose" how it joins the lines and I end up with weird shapes that don't reflect the original series of lines

Use PEDIT->Join instead.

If this doesn't work, upload a sample drawing (.dwg) please.

Hi Betreff,

PEDIT, rather than “join” works thank you!

In any event it seems to be random, and I can get the issue sometimes, and other times it will work as it should?

Thank you

I don't know. I use the join command very rarely. May be other users have more experiences with this.
