Http(s) proxy with authentication

I need to connect Autocad 2015 and 2016 as well as Autocad 360 to the internet. I'm in a company network and we are using a coroporate http/https proxy.

Where can I set the proxy address, port and username/password in Autocad products ?

Don't tell me there is no simple option like this !? It seems that in 2016 Autodesk didn't understand that NO we don't want to add exception to our corporate proxies ! (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/AutoCA... not to mention the abnormal numerous domain to add, potentialy causing security issues to corporate networks, whereas a simple option could solve this in 1 minute...

Even the simplest dumb software developped by 1 or 2 guys on github are offering optino to use proxy with authentication.

Even Dassault DraftSight is offering FOR FREE a proxy option:

Hello plzlol;

I am sorry that you are not happy with the method that Autodesk suggests to handle proxies.

Although some do not, many programs rely on the system to handle such things.

Proxy server settings changes required to unblock Autodesk A360 services that you mentioned gives the reasons why this method is currently used.

The method you suggest would most likely be far easier for the end user, and I have submitted an Enhancement Request for that functionality.

If you and other end users would please also submit the same request, there is a greater chance of it getting aded to a future release of AutoCAD.

Raising enhancement requests for Autodesk products

You might also consider becoming a Beta tester for future releases of AutoCAD, as Autodesk takes great stock in the opinions of its Beta testers.

Thank you for your contribution to the future of AutoCAD.
