Gray lines print dotted

Hey.

When i use gray lines (0.05,0.09,0.1) they print dotted. when i open the PDF the lines arent dotted.

ive seen answeres where gray lines are problematic especially when linescarle is very thin.

but my question is - is there anyhthing i can do so they will print without dotted?

im also aware of dither. iv tried printing with the setting on and off. same thing.

all the best.

Are you using CTB plot styles?

What are the lineweights assigned to these gray colors?

What printer/plotter are you using?

When you print a PDF these lines plot OK?

P.s I saw you had the lineweights noted in your post.

Do you have / use any other colors that have the same lineweights assigned?

If not, change your plot style table and assign a couple of test colors with the same lineweights and see how they print.

Hey.

Thanks for your Reply.

I have other colors (black) with the same line weights and they print just fine.

i use different printers and they all print the gray with dots.

All the best

I'm not sure if this will help but you can try creating a print to PDF paperspace and assign some plot overrides so that you can keep the dwg as is and still get the pdf you need.
