Embedded PDF won't Load

I'm having an issue where there is a pdf that is embedded in a file that I'm trying to open, but the PDF doesn't load. It gave me an error message the first time, saying that I had to install some AutoCAD PDF loader or something, but now I don't get that message. Any help would be appreciated. I'm on 2019 version

Do you have access to the source PDF file?
Ask the file creator to send it to you, your embedded image may be corrupt.

Hello @Anonymous

Do I understand it correct that the PDF is still listed under file references?

If so you would see the paths where the application expects the PDF file to be stored. If the PDF is non existent on your machine, please get in contact as @pendean to request the file.

If the PDF is stored on another location of your system you change the path in the context menu when selecting the file in the XREF Manager.
