Inches and Feet entering as an é and É

Hello everyone,

Really hoping someone can help me with this. I just upgraded to Autocad 2021 and I'm using a new mac with parallels to operate on windows 10. I am trying to enter a line with a certain dimension, and anytime I hit the symbol for inches or feet (" or ') it's entering as an é or É, therefor not allowing me to enter anything at all. Has anyone come across this issue and know how to resolve it?

Thank you!

So you are running AutoCAD2021 for Windows?
Did you install a language pack with it?
Which keyboard are you using?
Which "new MAC" is this?

Yes I'm running autocad 2021 for windows through parallels. I'm using a 2019 Macbook pro with Catalina. I posted in the regular autocad forum but was directed here. I didn't install a language pack and the text on everything is in english. It's just the symbols that are showing up as french letters.

Use this method to confirm your region keyboard is correctly set
https://kb.parallels.com/116162

Keep track of your steps in case you have to reverse back out of it if new issues appear.

EDIT: just saw this link, worth checking your current settings first https://kb.parallels.com/en/113706
