Hello,

Use this Lisp.

First select all texts using select similar > T2m.

If their justifications are not all some variety of top-justified, use this routine [Text1MtextJust2.lsp with its T1MJ] command, and the resulting Mtext objects will each retain the justification of its source Text object.  See comments at that page and at the top of the file.

Hello,

If all you are wishing to do is to create a background mask, I advise just using the TextMask command within Express Tools.

This works on regular Text objects, meaning you wouldn't have to convert all the text objects in Mtext.

I've run the command on the DWG you attached so you can see how it looks.

Regards,

Joe

Why if I may ask? The command is built-into modern versions of LT including LT2024

Yeap, I discovered this command in LT later. 🤣 It was only because people talked about this command in Express Tools (that I know that isn't in LT version) that I looked for an alternative. Tks.
