Avoid plotting duplicate objects

Is there a way to avoid that autocad plot duplicate objects. It seems that the order erase duplicate objects have some kind of bug bcz it doesnt work properly.

Better than that is there a safe way to erase all duplicate objects when you finish a drawing?

Best regards

Dear Mr. Darwin33

I guess "OVERKILL" command can do your job.

Hope this could help you  out.

Hi,

... is there a safe way to erase all duplicate objects when you finish a drawing.>>>> OVERKILL command can do that BUT you have to be careful when you use it and you have to know and understand how to fill the dialog if needed.

Good Luck..

Under your plotter setup, chose the 'Lines Overwrite' option, and only the topmost segments will be plotted.  Lines merge will let both the underlying and overlaying linework be plotted.

With modern laser/inkjet plotters, I don't think that duplicate linework get plotted -- unless you're still using an old-school pen plotter?
