Hello! I imported that file from 3ds max to autocad. How to optimize it for cnc? The problem is that it has to many points.
Hi,
>> The problem is that it has to many points
There are no points (I see) on straight edges that can be deleted without losing quality. I also can't find curves like arcs with constant radius ... so: You know that in that case less points means less quality?
And what means too many? 10% too much or 10 times too much?

There appears to be a section with geometry in the Z direction. Is this an intentional part of the design?

there are a couple way to get this down see this article for a couple. probably the easiest would be something like FLATTEN, but that command always see to be a mixed bag for me.
EDIT: I just ran flatten and it significantly changes the lines... id try something else.
