With the 2021 AutoCAD version I noticed a considerable problem on snaps. although the snap square is shown, the point taken is almost never that. the position of the mouse is taken and not the snap point.

I don't know which "snap square" you're talking about. (Perhaps you can show us a video what happens? You can use e.g. >>SCREENCAST<< to create a video).
But first let us know the value of your OSMODE variable. (Type "osmode" in the command line and tell us the displayed number).

If something I wrote can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant the other one.
Another possibility is that you are moving your mouse as you click. A lot people are having this problem and it is almost always due to OSnap tracking or not taking the time to stop on the snap while clicking.
here the video of the problem.
you notice the snap symbol but it is not snapped to that point.
As I thought, you are moving your mouse as you click. Yes this behavior has gotten more sensitive in recent years. Especially so since lasso selection was introduced. You need to stop as you click. Make it as deliberate as possible. You will see improvement. As you do it more and more, you will retrain your muscle memory to pause as you click.
I've always used the same speed.
this happens since I switched from autocad 2020 to version 2021.
Slowing down means taking more time. this is not a software improvement.
@guido_maniglia wrote:I've always used the same speed.
It's not the speed. It's the pause. You can't be moving the mouse as you click.
@guido_maniglia wrote:this is not a software improvement.
Correct and it's not a problem with the software either.
Good luck with your retraining.
@guido_maniglia wrote:thank you, now I return to 2020.
Welcome.
I don't understand why you are putting yourself in a position to be stuck in 2020 but, hey, that's your choice.
BTW, I've noticed similar behavior in other programs concerning mouse sensitivity. When you want to move from 2020, you might want to consider looking for a solution relating to that.
because in 2020 I don't have these problems. when they are fixed, I will move to a new version

Once again, they are not problems with the program and 2020 shouldn't be that much different. If it is, then it's probably some setting that you changed in 2020 that didn't get changed in 2021.
ok this is your opinion, but I have not set anything in 2020 or in 2021.
I found this and I reported it on the forum if you do not have this problem good for you.

What part of "I've seen this in other programs." didn't you understand?
If you don't like the facts that I'm stating, you are not obliged to respond. If you don't want anyone to say anything that contradicts you, you shouldn't try to get help in forums.
Your problem is moving the mouse while clicking. Have yourself a look around for similar posts that have videos. The users are flying around the screen like a mosquito on cocaine.

Why was this marked as a solution?
Hi. I don't know if this is related directly to the subject: Was going crazy over how snaps were slow in 2021 version because I had to hover over the snap points abit before say moving an object.
What helped : options/drafting/aligment point aquisition set it to "shift to aquire".
Now it works like in 2020 version. 🙂 Don't know if this is a new feature in 2021...
Oh no, I thought I found the solution to the problem, but it didn't work for me unfortunately.
