RFIs – Allow for a default setting to save closed RFIs and set default location

In the RFIs tool on ACC Build, when an RFI has been answered, it is thereafter closed and distributed.  To save the closed RFI to a folder in Files, the user is required to tick the box next to “Save closed RFIs item report to a folder in Files”.  The user is then prompted to choose a location to save the closed RFI.

In our projects, we generally have several RFIs being generated. It would be useful to have the option to mark the box next to “Save closed RFIs item report to a folder in Files” as ticked by default and select a default location to save the closed RFI.  This will assist us as all our RFIs in a project are saved in the same folder.  Having the option to save closed RFIs by default and setting a default location will make the RFI process less time consuming and will be beneficial to us.

Agreed!  This would help speed up the process for our RFI Managers and prevent the saving of RFI reports from being forgotten.

This is great idea, this can be added to RFIs advanced settings. We would setup location of saved RFIs folder once instead of every time when we are closing RFIs.
