Aparently when linking the coordination model from ACC in Navisworks, the result geometry elements lack critial information like the Category (as a paremeter for rule creation, we can see it in the file tree) and, much more important, it lack the revit ID number (or even the revit GUID - the GUID it has it's one dreated for Navisworks). The problem with this, is that when issues are created, they are created in that NWD file and shared with everyone in ACC, we cannot easily find where that issue is because there is no ID number we can use to find the elements in our working files. Autodesk is sugesting the following "dynamo script" as a workaround - but that is not a viable long term workflow. Revit Item GUID not matching with Navisworks GUID We really need this to fixed ASAP, please. I trust it can be simple. This is a Navisworks problem (with ACC implications), but there is no Idea Forum for Navisworks, so feel free to move this idea/request if you feel there is a more apropriate forum for this. Thank you.
