Currently there is no option to import custom fields from any other project or using a template, which would have made it easier to set up custom fields and issue categories & types in new projects. There are 400+ items in custom fields which have to be added manually for each project.
Although this can be handled to some extent using project template, custom fields are updated constantly. Additionally, there is a substantial time gap between project creation and start of project execution due to pre-construction design process, which makes the project template out dated by the time we set up issues for execution related inspections.
