There is currently no way to add simple annotations — like text notes, clouds, or arrows — in Autodesk Takeoff. Every drawing element must be tied to a takeoff type, which creates clutter and confusion for things that are meant to be informational only.
Request:
Add a separate annotation toolset for:
Keep annotations visually distinct from takeoffs
Let them be exported with the sheet if desired
This would help users flag coordination issues, note assumptions, or communicate visually without bloating the takeoff database.
