Extrude Corners

I am a new 3ds Max user.

I come from Modo and other 3D Software.

How can I perfectly extrude the corner of a rectangle? (This is only an example, but I think that the tecnique to do that can be applied to other meshes). In Modo I can use the bevel tool to achieve that.

Do you have a solution to do it with a tool? I hate moving vertices or edges by freehand.

Thank you for your help.

Hi;

You can achieve this by Extrude command, with Local Normal Option (image 01):

ext1.jpg

But you will see that your object has been deformed, so you will need to view align those faces seperately with the tools under Edit poly > Edit Geometry section (image 02)

ext2.jpg

These sub selection align tools work on local coordinates, so dont worry if your object is rotated after it's created.

Regards;
