Door and Window size label help

I've been worrking on a routine that quickly / auomatically labels window and door sizes.  I have it to the point it returns the correct size and places text.

The issue is the format. It produces: "  2'-4" x 5'-0" . This works but the industry standard would be: 2450
2'-4" should be 24
3'-0" should be 30
3'-6" should be 36
3'-10" should be 310

Any ideas on how to acheive this? I began making a vast list of cond covering every number under the sun. There has to be an easier way.

Thanks!

A door that I replaced at mom's house has a ink stamp,
placed by the manufacturer, located on the topside of
the door, that reads "2-8/6-8".

Some trim carpenters might take your "industry standard"
to mean 24 inches by 50 inches (yes, I have seen this!).

What is meant by "21060"?
