Row height setting

This is a follow up to an old question of mine:

It originally applied to Vault 2023 but is still an issue in Vault 2025. In short: when thumbnails are shown the rows in the bottom pane are excessively large for no apparent reason:

My suggestion is to add an option that adjust the row height to the highest content, often being the thumbnail, eliminating the margins completely:

Thank you for posting the idea. The row size is most likely determined by the maximum thumbnail size available. If you increase the Thumbnail column, you should see the empty space decrease. Can you try that?

There seems to be some kind of correlation, yes. But it's sort of counter intuitive, because I want small thumbnails AND space effective rows.

 

Noteworthy: Unlike in Uses/Where Used, the whole thing seems to work in the History view, where a narrow thumbnail column DOES NOT add a load of vertical padding to each row:
